The Nature of a Credit Controller Job
All jobs require a certain amount of skill, dedication and a little amount of creativity. It is true when they say that when you love your job, it will love you back. I have credit controller job and even though it can be challenging at times, it is still an ideal position and has often been rewarding. I work under our finance department and my task is to deal with our company’s debtors. I handle transactions over the phone but it can also require me to go out and so some field work. The main challenge is tracking down customers who are difficult to get a hold of over the phone. Contacting customers in debt calls for some customer service skills, a talent in negotiating and a willingness to extend empathy. Goals and target conversions are always part of my job and it keeps me motivated because I know that not only do I help our company in getting back the money owed but also my customers in getting their accounts settled and current.
